Holiday brunch

Many family brunches happen during the holiday season. Being from Mumbai I grew up in a diverse culture celebrating all beautiful festivals. For some reason Christmas makes me extra happy because Mumbai & cold weather is a duo we rarely get to experience otherwise. It’s the start of December & the weather has started getting better pushing me into the holiday vibes already. I love the cold, the lights, prayers & Maria aunty’s baked treats.

I also love how during December holidays we go out with family & relatives after celebrating Diwali by inviting people home & keeping it cozy. It’s the best time to try cheesy goodness in pasta & lasagna. Anything European & continental adds to the taste buds.

In clothing I love wearing midis, mostly pastel tones or floral for a day event & dark maroon, purple or black for evening outings. When you’re in Mumbai forget jackets or overcoats, it’s more about fabrics & adding scarves than covering up. Since this day it was a brunch catch up I decided to go with a floral flared ashy blue dress & my good old favourite tan wedges. Little bell sleeves felt perfect for the occasion & as cozy as the food. MAC Mehr is my go to lip shade especially for any subtle glam. I kept it simple & had really good time with very palatable food, chitchats & great blessings. I hope you guys enjoy your December outings & brunch catch ups with your loved ones. Enjoy the pictures Bagnizers. Happy holidays!
