“Make it a December to remember” is my quote for this time of the year. Usually December month is all about food, holiday shopping & parties but not this time. This year since I’m more connected to myself & things that give me happiness & sense of fulfilment have definitely changed so it’s been a month of self pampering, getting healthier, being easy on myself & feeding my brain some good thoughts & just getting ready for all the happiness & challenges that 2018 has for me.
Some things & winter habits that never changed are the permanent mood setters for me. Everything from cupcakes with extra frosting to my old warm sweaters are still my favourites. Sharing December feelings would be great so this post is all about a lady’s December mood setters.
I’m a vampire in winters, ice-cold hands & feet to the extent that those who know me don’t even dare to shake hands & wish me for the holidays. Hence I always moisturize my feet & wrap them like a mummy with socks. So socks mood is definitely a permanent thing in my life.
Trench mood sounds so French, extra stylish too. Many brands have beautiful trench pieces, especially in a city like Mumbai where we don’t ever feel cold but still a seasonal clothing piece brings great vibes. Plus trench coat is better than a sweater for Mumbai winters.
Mask mood because why not! Someone like me, a crusty crocodile would know the struggles of having normal to dry skin. So don’t go crusting ladies, get yourself a good sheet mask.
Soft nails are the best for this season. Japanese cherry blossom to pink musk, every shade sounds very pleasing to me. I don’t ever think about what shade would suit my skin tone. Fashion challenges are more appealing than the trends people follow, isn’t it?
December is also the most comfortable month as I prefer boots over heels. Did i say I like my feet warm & snuggled up? So that’s what I do.
Red mood, knows every woman!
Moisture mood, especially for hair & hands as we always forget. I love using Innisfree & The Body Shop hand creams. I love everything flower scented for this time of the year, this time I got Peony hand cream by Innisfree & for hair it’s Pantene Oil Replacement.
Bougie mood is something I did this year since self love has been my thing. I literally pampered my eyes with these gold collagen patches from Dear Packer, crazy & I never thought I’ll try something like this but I did.
So those were my December mood setters. Have a great New Year guys, just few days left of this year but remember, December is the last one to be the best one so enjoy these last few days of 2017. Take care.
